Our minds operate on two levels: the conscious and the unconscious. The conscious story refers to the thoughts, beliefs, and experiences that we are aware of and can readily access. On the other hand, the unconscious story encompasses deeper layers of our psyche that are not immediately apparent to us.
Exploring dreams and engaging in active imagination techniques can aid in bridging the gap between these two layers. Dreams provide a window into the unconscious, offering insights into our fears, desires, and unresolved emotions. By analysing and interpreting our dreams, we can gain a better understanding of ourselves and our unconscious motivations.
